Hannah and Nathan’s wedding was special for us on so many levels – special enough to fly half way around the world early to make sure we made it to the rehearsal. . .a wedding where our girls walked down the aisle with her and I replayed countless moments of our life in Birmingham over in our head as they walked through the day. We had been there from the beginning, from Hannah’s first days at Samford to conversations about her friend Nathan, to big changes that rocked her world and brought depth and tears and searching to our friendship, to the moment when she admitted that she thought she might be falling in love with her best friend. . . And then, while she traveled, we got to know the humble, deep thinking, laid back man that had won her heart. We watched from the other side of the world and waited, praying for their hearts and their lives and I jumped up and down when I saw the proposal. It was an honor and a privilege to document this day, and we hope you can see the laughter, comfort, and celebration that came when Hannah’s vivacity met Nathan’s steadiness in a day to promise forever. . .
