Katie & Jamison

Katie & Jamison had their wedding at Reid Chapel at Samford on a perfect fall day. We walked around campus, played quidditch, and took awesome pictures! Jamison is a police officer, hence the toy cars and police escort leaving the reception. Heidi Elnora made Katie’s dress, Mandy Majerik from Hothouse Designs did the flowers, Ginny from Bits and Bobs coordinated the wedding, and the reception was at B&A Warehouse – always one of our favorite venues.

Emily & Matt

Matt and Emily planned their elegant Samford wedding from Texas with a lot of help from her mom and M. Elizabeth’s team from Birmingham. We had a wonderful time wandering around Samford University to find some of Emily’s favorite places at Samford. They had a beautiful traditional ceremony that emphasized the influence of Emily’s musical training, and the reception at Vestavia Country Club was a whimsically elegant banquet with pink gingham tablecloths, pink lemonade, mason jars, and beautiful florals by KG Designs. Emily was beaming all day and looked absolutely stunning in her delicately tiered lace dress. Matt’s groomsmen released their inner superhero with t-shirts below their tuxes, and Craig Duncan Orchestra provided the music for the dance party. Mark Hendren of Mark Five productions captured the moments of the day in motion on video.

Laura & Justin

When I met Laura a little over a year ago, she introduced herself as “my biggest fan.” She had seen pictures I took nearly four years ago and kept me in mind ever since then! It’s a huge honor to have someone love and trust me as much as Laura and Justin, and their pictures turned out absolutely fantastic!

Their wedding was at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Homewood and their reception was at “the Club”. We went to Samford to take a few pictures before the ceremony and closed the night out at the front of the Tutwiler for a few night time shots. Molly Shook from Swanky Socials did a fantastic job coordinating, and we enjoyed our first time coordinating with Hampton Road Studios for video!

Amy & Ken

Amy and Ken’s wedding was my first wedding of the year. We had a beautiful day at Samford – Amy and Ken gave us time to wonder around in the winter light right after the wedding. I love those moments of the day when it sinks in for the couple that the wedding is over and they are married.

Amy had great details everywhere – some favorites were the white tulips for her bouquet and the Phillies groom’s cake complete with edible grass. The ceremony was at Samford, and their reception as at “the Club”. Dorothy McDaniel’s Flower Market did all her flowers.
