Heather & Wes

Last Saturday’s wedding was so much fun. . . that’s what we keep saying as we look at the photos. Heather and Wes are crazy about each other. They were both beaming with happiness the whole day, and they have fantastic family and friends that clearly love them a ton. Heather kept things elegant and simple with a black and white palate with lots of cool textures. The ceremony was at Bluff Park Methodist, the reception at B&A (one of our favorite indoor venues in town), and afterwards we went back with them to Ross Bridge to take some sunset shots. We had a blast wandering around the grounds with them, hanging out and taking epic pictures. As we were putting this post together, David said -“And this is why I love my job. . . ”

Kate & Tait

Every bride looks beautiful on her wedding day, but Kate had the glow of someone who is truly loved. . .Tait, well done!

The wedding was a Bluff Park Methodist, reception at Flower Stems, and we went over to Ross Bridge to take a few more pictures after the reception, which turned out to be an awesome decision. Some other cool details:Meredith, one of my brides, did Kate’s makeup, Kate’s dad played guitar with the band, and Kate & Tait prayed with each of the bridesmaids/groomsmen as part of the service. ‘Twas a great day:)

Bonnie & Andrew

When you photograph weddings almost every weekend, you love details that are “different” – like this wicked-cool cake. . .and Bonnie & Andrew playing air guitar during the first dance. We (meaning one of the ushers, and then me) ran all over the neighborhood to chase down the ice cream man, which was quite nice on a 96 degree day. And even though we were smack in the middle of downtown, we caught a spectacular sunset. Good times:)
