Lesley & Sean

Leslie and Sean had a wonderful wedding in Auburn at the end of August. Some of my favorite moments – the fist bump with her dad before the ceremony, the flower girl walking backwards down the aisle as she watched the petals fall, the blanket Leslie made for Sean as his wedding present (Arianna made one for me when we were married and I’ve loved it ever since. . .although mine doesn’t have Saw’s BBQ on it!), and our ride around the golf course to take pictures before the reception.

Thanks Kevin for coming to shoot with me, and thank you Lesley and Sean – you guys are wonderful and it was an honor to be a part of your wedding!

Brendyn & Stephanie

Brendyn & Stephanie’s wedding was very special for us for several reasons. First, St. John’s Lutheran church is where Arianna grew up and where we were married a little over 11 years ago – at the same age as Brendyn and Stephanie! It was so fun to watch them standing where we stood, making similar promises and watching the tears and smiles on their faces. I hope this is a beginning of a fantastic adventure for them, just as it was for us! Second, Arianna’s dad performed the ceremony, which is always a special for us. Last, Brendyn’s family generously did the catering for Arianna’s sisters wedding 10 years ago, and we hope these pictures in some small way can serve as a thank you for that and all the other ways they supported her family and the church over the years.

Congratulations, you two – we’re so excited for you and know there is an amazing future ahead of you!

Emily & Kyle

Emily and Kyle’s wedding will probably go down as one of the best back-up plans ever. They had to reschedule everything because of construction 3 weeks before the wedding, and you never in a million years would have known. It was absolutely beautiful – with fantastic locations and details. I traveled down to Jacksonville to shoot their wedding at Riverside Baptist Church and the Reception was at Timaquana Country Club. Over the last 7 years, travel weddings to cool and beautiful places are becoming more and more common and it was wonderful to be able to see another place with new eyes.

Chrystal & Beau

Chrystal and Beau had an intimate wedding on 8/8 at Chateau Elan, and it was tons of fun. We worked out arrangements from Kenya, and all the details came together absolutely perfectly, including the monster rainstorm that blew away literally as Chrystal put on her dress! Chateau Elan was fantastic and we were given shuttles to every perfect spot around the vineyards, making for wonderful pictures and a perfect experience.

Chrystal, you definitely channeled your inner Stassi, and Beau you were awesome. . .and when you do ninja kicks you look remarkably like Dennis Quaid:) Thanks so much and congratulations!!

Brooklyn & Chris

Last Saturday was one of those days that came together without a hitch – perfect light, a gorgeous venue, impeccable planning, and a bride and groom who trusted us completely. We shot Brooklyn’s sister’s wedding abotu 2 yearas ago, so when we got to the Lake House to take getting ready pictures, we had fun finding our pictures all over the place. . . This wedding was at The Stable’s at Russell Crossroads and we were a little giddy with all the places to take another shot – at one point, Chris said – “you’re addicted to awesome pictures, aren’t you?” – You could say that :).
